Valentines Style Wishlist

  Hi everyone!
It's just 3 weeks until everybody's favourite,or least favourite celebration of the year, Valentines Day. But whether you are expecting romance or not it is a chance to get glam and go out to have fun! I have put together a list of fashionable pieces to wear out in the romance season that will either catch the eye of next years valentine or remind your partner what they've got
Buy Earrings                Buy Ring                  Buy Necklace
First up is jewelry, all of which I have picked from Lyla Loves. Lyla Loves creates charming and feminine jewelry with some very eye catching statement necklaces at very low prices! For valentines day I have picked the dainty gold pearl-stone earrings and matching ring with a pale pink statement necklace to add some colour to the arrangement.

Buy Shoes                    Buy Dress                     Buy Clutch

All of these outfit items are by ASOS. I opted for the neutral pink and feminine colours as even during the season of love, sometimes too much red is a little frightening. I love how the shoes are sky hugh yet still understated, afterall, you want your date to focus on your face not your feet. The dress gives a classic 50's vibe while the statement clutch brings it back up to this century.

One last thing that should be on everybody's wishlist is a nice big bunch of roses from Mr.Right!

I hope everyone has a great Valentines day this year!
Don't forget to hit that follow button!

Lots of love,

LUSH! Haul + Hair colour opinions.

17:12 Unknown 0 Comments

Hi everyone!
Today I am doing another 'Mini Haul' this time for my favorite natural cosmetics store LUSH! Cosmetics < click for their website. for those that do not know, LUSH! is an all natural, cruelty free and fabulous brand which as I believe also sell a lot of vegan cosmetics so if that's your thing then you will love it. the products range from beautifully scented bath bombs, soaps and shampoos right up to solid toothpastes and their very own natural makeup and perfumes.
I recently picked up a few products from my local store and thought I would share my opinions on these products.

The first product is entitled the 'Brightside Bubble Bar' which is a gorgeous citrussy bath addition which you crumble under running water to make a lemony orangey bubble bath, It turns the water a lovely orange colour ( tried and tested by me it does not stain the bath,or yourself orange!) I tried this out in a steamy hot bath with a few candles and certainly felt fantastic afterwards. you only need about half of the bar for a decent amount of bubbles so if you like to get more out of your products this will make 2 large bubble baths!

Next I purchased two funky bath bombs, the first- 'Tisty Tosty' which is a delicate rose scented bath bomb ( heart shaped how cute!) with REAL rose buds inside to give you that real life floral bath that everyone on tumblr seems to be sporting right? personally I think that if they used rose petals instead of buds it would look prettier in the bath but it still has that luxurious floral feeling and certainly calms the muscles and relaxes you.
the second bath bomb is 'Space Girl' which is a blue and purple fruity fizzer with glitter in it! I believe this is made for more of a fun bathtime more than a get clean bathtime as of course, you will get glitter all over your body and hair, I love anything sparkly so that doesnt bother me in the slightest but do consider wheter you want to be a glitterbug for a day. There is also popping candy in this bomb which just crackles when you put the bomb in the water and then dissolves so you dont get sticky bits!

Last but not least is an experimental purchase, the LUSH!'s own all natural hair dye using Henna! I opted for the 'Caca Rouge' colour option as I basically wanted a bright copper colour. There are 4 options in total and the result varies on your base colour so make sure to discuss exactly what you want with a store worker so that you get your desired result as once it is done it is unwise to use chemical dyes over the top, I've heard all sorts of stories about reactions from hair getting burnt to hair turning blue so please SEEK ADVICE, I did, it worked for me. anyway, Henna hair dye is a natural dye and therefore is a lot better for your hair than chemical dye, LUSH! mix theirs with cocoa butter to add extra conditioning. As it is natural it is a lengthy process, first you melt the solid bar down to a mud consistency and apply it to the hair, once wrapping your head in cling film you leave it on for 3-6 hours depending on the strength of the desired result, but that gives it a very deep condition and allows the colour to get deep within the hair and prevents fading.

Below you can see my before and after images, I used Caca Rouge on ash blonde hair for about 4 hours and came out with lovely vibrant copper hair!

I hope you liked this post, I have actually applied for a part time job at my local LUSH! store so if that goes well there will be a lot more reccomendations coming your way!
I have linked the titles of products to their web page in this post so make sure to check them out!

Lots of Love

Lifestyle| Scented Candle Extravaganza!

00:46 Unknown 0 Comments

Hello there everyone, I hope all of you have had a fabulous Christmas and a lovely New Year. Mine was very exciting until I realised that this will be my last year officially as a teenager as in 2016 I will become 20 and that frightened me!

Anyhoo todays haul is the first of a few that I am in the process of scheduling and creating for you guys and we are starting with a little collection of scented candles of which I purchased from the bubble of bargains that is Primark so without further ado let's ensnare our senses with scent descriptions.
This first buy is actually and oil burner which I just got to use as a tea light holder so I don't accidentally burn my house down-this actually came from poundland because my local Primark didn't seem to have any tea light holders other than the ones that you buy with the tea lights already in them where you only get one?

So my first Primark buy were these Sweet pineapple and ginger scented tea lights, one of which I used for the previous photo. These are pretty good value, there's like 30 in the pack which was only £1.30 and they burn for about 3.5 hours each so you get plenty of candle for your cash! The scent is a lot nicer than I expected, I was worried it would be overly tropical and make my room smell like some sort of tacky cocktail but it's not so bad, the pineapple hints are there along with a warm, subtle gingeryness which I am loving.

This next one is a vanilla and coconut candle in a pretty little silver jar thing, this was £2 and its supposed to give about 10 hours of burn which is pretty decent, I think this candle is very sweet and creamy scented but it takes a while for the scent to be noticeable in the room but its perfect for one of those relaxed, self indulgent baths with your favourite LUSH bath bomb ( I will be doing a mini LUSH haul/review for you guys in the very near future so stay tuned for that folks) but yes, I really like this candle, I will definitely be buying one of the bigger sizes in this scent-all of the scents I have shown are available in varied sizes/holders and some are available as oil diffusers which of course are fire hazard free!

This last candle is a larger size at up to 30 hours of burning time and it is in the scent of red berry and jasmine, this is a very feminine and girly smell and its also pink which looks oh so cute, I leave the labels on mine because I can never remember the correct scent names but they are removable to leave just the jar/holder visible. This was also only £2, I do not know how Primark prices these things like why is the 30hr and 10hr candle the same price? I do not know,I'm assuming maybe because the smaller one has a decorated holder maybe that could be it but at such a low price anyway its really not an issue, I sure wish that Yankee Candles would make their large sizes the same price as the small ones!

Overall I am pleased with the Primark candle range, especially since there are literally dozens of different scents from the pineapple-ginger ones to fresh cotton, I think there might be a bubblegum one too but you would have to confirm that for yourself.. One thing is that the scents are not strong, you do have to have the candle lit for a prolonged amount of time before you notice the scent, I found that fanning the air surrounding the candles spread it a little faster but if you have a cold don't expect any scent-sations from these things. The plus side is that they are so cheap you could just light several at once and have your home smelling great in no time at all!

Thanks for visiting my blog, don't forget to check back soon for more fab posts and check out my other networks which you can find links to at multiple areas of my blog!
If there is any particular type of post you would like me to do please let me know via comment on any of my networks I would be more than happy to consider your ideas!

Have a great day and a great 2015
Lots of love
